Six New Beneteaus Are Coming to the UK’s East Coast – Here’s How to Make One Yours

As the only authorised Beneteau dealer on the UK East Coast, Fox’s Yacht Sales has pre-ordered six new boats – from a nimble day boat to a flybridge cruiser built for long-range comfort. One is already on the water at Fox’s Marina. The rest are landing between now and next year, and every one of them can still be built to your spec.

The earlier you get your order in, the better – we’ve already sold one of the six!

Why Order Now?

  • Shorter waits. These boats are coming in, pre-ordered by us, so you skip the lead times a standard order would carry.
  • Demand. With one of these gorgeous Beneteaus already sold, we’re sure the others won’t be far behind.
  • Still room to make it yours. Factory spec is locked in on three of these, but our own boatyard can fit extras, upgrade electronics and finish the details before handover.
  • Ready for next season. Boats landing this autumn have time to be prepped, commissioned and berthed ready for spring – no scrambling in March.
  • Lock in today’s pricing. Ordering ahead of arrival protects you from any factory price rises.

Still Available:

The smallest of the five and already at Fox’s Marina, ready to view and sea trial. A brilliant UK East Coast day boat – easy to handle, quick to launch, and equally happy on a fishing trip up the estuary or an afternoon potter with the family. View the Antares 7 v2 – massive saving of £23,000!

A step up in space without losing the day-boat simplicity. Room for the whole crew, strong enough for watersports, and comfortable enough for a long lazy lunch at anchor. Landing in time to be customised over autumn and ready for the water come spring. View the Antares 8 v2 – with savings of over £13,000 on RRP

The flagship of the Antares range, with twin Suzuki 250s for serious performance and a layout built for entertaining as much as exploring. If you want a boat that can do a fast Sunday run to the coast and still sleep aboard, this is the one. View the Antares 9 v2 – Saving of over £16,000 on the RRP.

A proper sailing yacht for the East Coast and beyond – easy enough to handle shorthanded, with a modern hull and interior that make weekend cruising genuinely relaxing. Whether you’re sailing the rivers or heading further offshore, the 34.1 is built to make it simple, but thoroughly enjoyable. View the Oceanis 34.1saving of over £19,000 on the RRP.

The one for owners thinking bigger – a flybridge motor cruiser with the range and comfort for extended trips, designed with purposeful luxury in mind. Order now and you’re first in line when it lands. View the Swift Trawler 37 FlySaving over £28,000 on the RRP.

New vs Used: What You Actually Get

A new boat isn’t just about being first owner – it changes what you’re buying:

  • Full manufacturer warranty, so you’re not budgeting for someone else’s wear and tear.
  • Latest engines and electronics – better fuel efficiency, easier navigation, and safety features older boats simply weren’t built with.
  • Still room to make it yours. Factory spec is locked in on three of these, but our own boatyard can fit extras, upgrade electronics and finish the details before handover.
  • No unknown history. No wondering what a survey might turn up, no refit backlog waiting for you.
  • Flexible finance available.

Beneteau First 30 Named Performance Cruiser of the Year 2026

Beneteau First 30 Named Performance Cruiser of the Year 2026

The new Beneteau First 30 has added another major accolade to its growing list of honours, winning the Performance Cruiser category at the prestigious European Yacht of the Year 2026 awards.

Judged by the test directors and editors of Europe’s leading sailing magazines, the award is widely considered one of the most respected in the sailing industry. For the First 30, it marks the fourth international award since launch — and the most significant yet.

A New Take on Performance Cruising

Competing against strong contenders including the JPK 1050, XR 41 and Dragonfly 36 trimaran, the First 30 impressed the jury with its blend of exhilarating performance and genuine cruising practicality.

Designed to plane with ease yet remain simple to handle, the boat brings high-performance sailing to a wider audience. Reviewers praised its smooth, fast ride in challenging conditions and the way it delivers dinghy-like responsiveness in a 30-foot cruiser.

Just as importantly, the judges highlighted its value for money and accessible design — a combination that puts it firmly at the top of the podium.

Built Through Collaboration

The project was developed through a close partnership between Beneteau and Seascape, supported by an experienced international design team.

Naval architect Samuel Manuard created the modern planing hull, while Lorenzo Argento shaped the overall design. Structural engineering and interior work came from SITO, with further technical development from Pure Design & Engineering alongside the Beneteau and Seascape R&D teams.

The goal was simple: create a boat that captures the thrill of planing performance without sacrificing comfort or usability. The result is a performance cruiser that feels fast, capable and surprisingly easy to sail.

Strong Demand from Sailors

The market response has been just as impressive as the reviews.

More than 130 boats have already been sold across 17 countries, with production effectively booked a year in advance. The latest hull was showcased at the 2025 edition of Boot Düsseldorf, where the model first launched under the banner “The Icon is Reborn.”

That slogan nods to the original 1977 First 30 — a boat that helped define the performance cruiser category nearly 50 years ago.

The new version takes that legacy and pushes it forward: lightweight construction, innovative hull geometry, clever interior design, and the kind of sailing performance that keeps owners smiling long after the sails are hoisted.
