Charles Vinten

Sales Director

Charles Vinten was raised on the East Coast and started sailing from a young age. He began working in the marine industry at 17 and qualified as a Yacht Master Ocean in 2011. He later worked in the superyacht industry and as a skipper of an Oyster yacht before moving into yacht brokerage. In his spare time, he can often be found yacht racing in local and national regattas or helping his wife with the horses and dogs.

Following a long career in the Motor Trade, James sought a more serene way of life and found himself taking to Yacht Broking during lockdown. Having grown up with motorboats and speed boats, he found the pleasure of sailing in later life, and this suited him perfectly. James describes himself as an enthusiastic amateur when it comes to sailing but this enthusiasm comes through in the way he deals with clients.  James is married to Jackie and in his spare time, loves being out in the countryside with his dog Bailey.

Beth studied Photography at the University of Suffolk before moving into marketing, where she has worked for the past three years. Her background in photography gives her a keen eye for presenting yachts at their best. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, travelling, and board games.
