Beneteau Figaro

The world's first production foiling one-design monohull.

Home » Boat Range Overview » Beneteau Sailboats » Figaro

The Figaro Beneteau is a revolutionary high-performance racing yacht, designed for sailors who want the cutting edge of technology and speed. As the world’s first production foiling one-design monohull, it combines innovation, reliability, and performance to deliver an unmatched sailing experience.

Built in collaboration with the Van Peteghem Lauriot-Prévost (VPLP) design office, the Figaro incorporates lessons from the Vendée Globe-winning Imoca designs. Lightweight, ballast-free, and crafted from advanced foam sandwich fibreglass, it features a slender, high-performance hull, deep keel, and inward-facing foils that reduce drift while improving stability and righting moment.

The yacht’s mast is set back to optimise balance, allowing a generous sail plan that includes a square-top mainsail, jib, genoa, and a masthead spinnaker for light-wind performance. With an impressive mainsail of 39.5 m², jib of 30.5 m², and spinnaker area of 105 m², the Figaro is engineered to plane effortlessly and surf at speed, giving solo sailors an exhilarating experience under all conditions.

Every detail – from hull shape to sail layout and foils – is designed for performance, efficiency, and thrill. The Figaro Beneteau is more than a racing yacht; it’s a platform for pushing boundaries and experiencing the ultimate in modern monohull sailing.
