Beneteau Swift Trawler 43 Fly Overview
The Beneteau Swift Trawler 43 Fly is cruising with more room to breathe: smoother, more comfortable and more connected to the outdoors. True to Swift Trawler DNA, it pairs passagemaker autonomy with a residential-style interior, and adds a generous flybridge that works as a second living space.
A strong, purposeful silhouette, high bow and redesigned proportions give her a confident presence underway. Twin 320hp Yanmar diesels give an economical 8-12 knot cruise and an estimated top speed of 23-24 knots. With a range of up to 565 nautical miles at 8 knots, she’s built for going further, in comfort.

Performance & Autonomy
Power comes from twin Yanmar 320hp diesels driving a semi-planing hull. It’s happiest at displacement speeds of 8-12 knots, with an estimated top speed of 23-24 knots when you want to make progress.
The 1,170-litre aluminium fuel tank gives a range of up to 565 nautical miles at 8 knots, allowing for a 10% fuel reserve. That’s plenty for coastal hopping, Channel crossings and longer adventures.

A Flybridge Made for Company
The flybridge is the Fly’s star. A large U-shaped seat with an adaptive backrest seats up to six in standard upholstery, so guests can enjoy forward-facing views underway, then turn it into a sociable lounge at anchor.
A wetbar with Corian worktop, sink and storage keeps drinks close to hand, and options include an icemaker and electric grill. The optional “vis-à-vis” pack adds a folding hi/lo table and a movable starboard bench seat, and a Bimini and wood-slat flooring are available to finish it off.

Helm With a View
Two helms mean the skipper can choose. Upstairs, the flybridge console has space for navigation electronics, a slide-and-rotate pilot seat with bolster function and a co-pilot bench seat with a transformable backrest. Below, the saloon pilot station keeps the skipper close to the action on cooler days, with a fixed bench seat, sliding side door and a single-piece windscreen.
A hinging radar mast and folding anchor light pole reduce air draft, opening up more routes and waterways.
Cockpit Built to Adapt
The “Adaptive Cockpit” is larger and more flexible than before, with the option of a sliding seat configuration to suit how you use it. A raised cockpit level with protective coaming adds safety and storage, and a high-perimeter pushpit makes the aft deck feel secure.
Options include a wood folding cockpit table and chairs, and an electric swim platform with integrated tender supports (150kg SWL).

Toys, Tenders & Tidy Decks
The Fly is designed to carry your leisure kit. The flybridge has dedicated storage for kayaks and paddleboards, with an optional easy-load davit and roof rack (up to 80kg) to make loading simple. An electric Tenderlift platform makes launching and handling a tender easier.
Forward, raised winch and anchor lockers create a safer, more ergonomic working area for docking and anchoring, with safe passageways on both sides. An optional foredeck sunpad with transforming backrest gives you somewhere to stretch out.
Saloon & Galley
Inside, the Swift Trawler 43 Fly feels residential. A portside U-shaped saloon with a convertible wood table sits alongside a starboard sideboard, and a triple sliding patio door opens the saloon to the cockpit.
The enlarged U-shaped galley has Corian worktops, a 3-burner gas hob and oven, a 176-litre fridge and 43-litre freezer, a folding Corian bartop and generous stowage. A full electric galley with induction hob is available as an option.

Three Cabins, Two Heads
The accommodation is designed around privacy and wellbeing:
- Owner’s cabin (forward): double berth, two wardrobes, large storage under the berth and an en-suite head with a separate shower stall.
- Port guest cabin: two single beds that convert to a double, with a Jack & Jill door giving direct access to the day head, which has its own shower.
- Utility cabin (starboard): storage and shelving, with options for a washer-dryer, fridge/freezer or wine cooler.
Innovations Dedicated to Comfort
Technology makes the 43 easier to handle and more comfortable underway. Options include:
- Yanmar joystick control with integrated bow and stern thrusters
- Seakeeper SK4.5 gyro stabilisation
- Zipwake automatic trim system
- Space for large navigation displays at both helms
- Generator, air conditioning and a watermaker
- Electric skylights or “Silent Boat” solar panels
The Seanapps connected platform lets owners monitor the boat’s systems, receive alerts and get maintenance recommendations from their phone.
