Rival 36 Overview

The Rival 36 is widely regarded as one of Britain’s finest offshore cruising yachts, combining exceptional sea-keeping, reassuring build quality and comfortable accommodation in a proven Peter Brett design. to Lloyd’s 100A1 standard, Kalabash is one of the final examples produced, launched in 1991. Featuring the desirable shoal keel, she offers impressive offshore performance whilst reducing her draft, making her equally at home exploring the East Coast or beyond.

She has been meticulously & professionally maintained throughout, with significant upgrades including new sails (2024), new standing rigging (2025), recent antifouling and anodes (2026), plus a Beta Marine 35hp engine fitted new in 2023.
