Hallberg-Rassy 31 Overview
This Hallberg-Rassy 31 for sale is a highly regarded family cruising yacht, combining Hallberg-Rassy’s renowned Scandinavian build quality with a safe and capable design by German Frers. She was an exhibit at the 1993 London Boat Show, and offers comfortable accommodation for up to six, excellent storage and a well-protected cockpit, making her equally suited to coastal cruising or longer passages. Lady Meg has been well maintained and has been in the same syndicate ownership since 2004. She was re-engined in 2023 with a Volvo D1-20, and boasts a comprehensive maintenance record and inventory including a large sail wardrobe, recent electronics and much more.

Cabin
Offering six berths across two cabins. Forward is the separate V-berth cabin with useful stowage beneath and through shelving along either side. Deck opening hatch to the foredeck. Moving aft into the saloon, there are twin settee berths either side of a folding dining table, with excellent storage throughout. The galley is positioned to starboard and is equipped with a Neptune 4500 two-burner gas cooker with oven and grill (new 2026), top opening fridge, twin stainless-steel sinks with a pressurised hot and cold water supply.
Opposite to port is the navigation station with some navigation equipment and the electrical distribution panel. Separate heads compartment in the starboard quarter with a manual marine toilet, basin with a pressurised hot & cold water supply. Heads tap pulls out to form a shower. Shower drain. Opposite in the port quarter is the second double cabin, again offering generous storage.

Built by Hallberg-Rassy in 1993 to a design by German Frers. Hand-laid GRP hull with sandwich GRP deck and coachroof. White gelcoat hull with blue cove and boot-top lines. Lead fin keel. Tiller steering to a partially skeg-hung rudder. Teak laid deck and cockpit. Fixed windscreen incorporating stainless steel handrails. Self-draining aft cockpit. Last surveyed in 2021 with a copy available upon request. Maintenance log available upon request.
