Kingfisher 26 Overview
Nonsuch is a well-built and capable Kingfisher 26, offering an excellent opportunity to own a traditional British cruising yacht at an attractive price. Designed by R. A. G. Nierop and built by Westfield Engineering Co. in 1972, she is a solid GRP family cruiser with twin bilge keels, making her particularly well suited to exploring the East Coast and drying harbours.
Nonsuch has also benefited from several useful recent improvements, including a new engine-start battery in 2025, new LED reading lights, galley lighting, freshwater system and sea toilet. With a Rutland 50W wind generator, 100W solar panel, modern Lowrance chart plotter and Garmin GPS, she is well equipped for comfortable coastal cruising and represents excellent value for money.
