Frances 26 Overview
The Frances 26 is a most capable design, a small cruiser with a wide horizon, originally designed by Chuck Paine for his own use as the smallest sailing yacht that would be safe for offshore cruising. Although well suited to serious passage making, their modest draft and easily handled sailplan also makes them ideal for exploring the shallow waters of the East Coast and beyond. Chantal is a cutter rigged version of this popular design and has been in the same ownership for the past 19 years.
