Construction
Built by Benteau to a VPLP design. Polyester sandwich hull, deck and bulkheads, all infused with PVC foam. The transversal structure and the bulkheads are "methacrylate" glued in the hull. Mast and keel bulkheads over laminated to the hull. Cast iron keel with mixed cast iron/lead ballast treated by spraying with molten zinc. One pair of independent and retractable carbon epoxy foils, both fully rigged for independent foil rake adjustment. Each foil is manually adjustable by tackle with return to cockpit. Tiller steering to polyester twin-rudders hung with stainless steel shaft. Rudders with 2 self-aligning bearings. Link bar equipped with ball joints for dynamic adjustment.
