Vancouver 28 Overview
The Vancouver 28 is one of the most respected small offshore cruising yachts ever built. Developed from Robert Harris’ renowned Vancouver 27, the 28 has a slightly extended stern and increased freeboard, creating additional accommodation while preserving the original design’s outstanding seaworthiness. Designed for serious short-handed cruising, her encapsulated long keel, cutter rig and robustly built hull have earned the Vancouver an enviable reputation among blue-water sailors worldwide.
‘Innisfree’ has been lightly used by her current owners and has benefited from several recent upgrades, including a new Beta Marine engine, upgraded Raymarine electronics, a hot water system, copper coating and more.

Below decks, ‘Innisfree’ offers warm, traditional accommodation finished in beautifully crafted teak joinery with teak and holly soleboards. The practical layout provides comfortable accommodation for up to four people, making her ideal for extended cruising.
Forward is a generous sail locker leading into the heads compartment, fitted with a Jabsco marine toilet with a holding tank, wash basin with a pressurised hot & cold water and shower head and teak sole grating.
The saloon is bright with opposing settee berths, both fitted with lee cloths for offshore passages, together with a removable pipe cot providing an additional berth. A folding drop-leaf saloon table creates a comfortable dining area, while lockers, bookshelves and under-seat stowage provide ample storage.
To port is the well-equipped galley featuring a Neptune 2000 two-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, stainless steel sink, coolbox and plentiful storage. Opposite, the forward-facing navigation station incorporates a chart table with electrical switch panel, radar display and dedicated chart storage. The generous quarter berth extends aft beneath the cockpit.
Comfort onboard is enhanced by an Eberspächer diesel-fired warm air heating system with outlets in the saloon and heads, together with numerous dorade ventilators providing excellent ventilation throughout.
