The deck layout aboard the Beneteau First 27 SE has brilliant ergonomics to make the boat a safe and practical for short-handed sailing/racing yacht. The boat is fully equipped with:

Cabin

The interior of the Beneteau First 27 SE is well designed as a bright, lightweight and highly practical living space. The clean white gelcoat finish, light grey EVA foam flooring and large Plexiglass companionway create a modern and airy atmosphere throughout. Up forward, there is a comfortable double V-berth with integrated buoyancy volume beneath and opening deck hatch. Stepping aft their is a full width wet room/heads compartment. In the saloon, there are two single settee berths either side of the keel box with a simple table attachment on top. Spacious aft berths on both sides, with integrated storage compartments and lightweight wooden covers throughout. Padded back supports, dedicated washboard storage, insulated icebox and additional system storage spaces make the yacht practical for extended cruising or offshore passages.

Construction

Hull and deck constructed using vacuum infused vinyl ester resin with foam and Soric GRP sandwich construction. GRP stringers in the keel and bow sections. Carbon fibre structural beams laminated over the keel box and deck to support mast compression and hydraulic keel system loads. Twin transom-hung balanced rudders built in GRP foam sandwich construction. Swinging keel with lead bulb, steel structural element and epoxy GRP enclosure. Laminated keel areas pre-finished with epoxy primer for easier antifouling application. All bolts, fittings and fastenings manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel.
