Official dealers for the full product range of new Beneteau & Wellcraft boats.
The Beneteau First 27 SE represents the pinnacle of modern, trailerable performance cruising, bringing together offshore capability, refined design, and genuinely thrilling sailing performance in a highly versatile package. Developed with input from top designers and sailors, it builds on the proven success of the First SE range, offering a larger, more powerful platform that remains remarkably accessible and easy to manage.
From the moment it heels and loads up, the First 27 SE feels composed, fast, and incredibly capable. Its advanced hull design promotes early planing and efficient passage-making, while the twin rudders provide exceptional grip and control, even when pushing hard in stronger conditions. The boat tracks confidently, responds instantly to input, and delivers a level of feedback that keeps the sailing experience engaging without ever feeling overwhelming.
Despite its clear performance focus, the First 27 SE is designed to go further. It is fully capable of offshore passages and extended coastal cruising, offering a reassuring sense of security alongside its speed. The lifting keel system once again plays a crucial role, allowing access to shallower waters, simplifying launching and recovery, and making transport between locations far more practical than traditional fixed-keel yachts of this size.
On deck, the layout is clean, purposeful, and built around efficient sail handling. There is plenty of space for crew to move freely, whether racing or cruising, and all controls are positioned to support short-handed sailing. The cockpit strikes a careful balance between performance and comfort, ensuring that longer passages remain enjoyable without detracting from the boat’s dynamic character.
Below deck, the First 27 SE offers a surprisingly well-considered interior for a boat of this type. It provides essential accommodation for overnight stays or longer adventures, with a layout that focuses on practicality, weight efficiency, and usability. It is not about excess, but about giving you exactly what you need to extend your time on the water.
What sets the First 27 SE apart is its ability to deliver serious sailing performance without limiting how or where you use it. It is just as comfortable lining up on a start line as it is setting off on a coastal passage or exploring new cruising grounds. Fast, capable, and impressively versatile, it is a boat that opens up more possibilities every time you take it out.
