Official dealers for the full product range of new Beneteau & Wellcraft boats.
The Beneteau First 24 SE takes the idea of accessible performance cruising and pushes it into a seriously exciting, modern package. Designed with speed, simplicity, and versatility at its core, it combines lightweight construction with a powerful hull form that delivers real sailing performance while remaining easy to handle and launch. It sits in that sweet spot between a high-performance dinghy and a compact cruiser, giving you proper offshore capability without losing that raw, responsive feel on the water.
At the helm, the First 24 SE feels immediate and alive. The twin rudders provide exceptional grip and confidence when heeled, keeping control precise even as the boat is driven harder. The hull is designed to lift and plane efficiently, meaning that when the breeze fills in, the boat quickly transitions from displacement sailing into an engaging, fast and stable ride. It is a boat that rewards active sailing, yet remains forgiving enough to inspire confidence in a wide range of conditions and skill levels.
A key part of its appeal is the lifting keel system, which transforms how and where the boat can be used. It opens up shallow cruising grounds, simplifies launching and recovery, and makes trailering a genuine option rather than a compromise. This flexibility means more time on the water and less time restricted by marina availability, something that modern sailors increasingly value.
The cockpit is clean, wide, and designed with movement in mind. Everything is positioned for efficient handling, whether you are sailing short-handed or with crew. It feels open and uncluttered, keeping the focus firmly on sailing rather than managing systems. Below deck, there is a practical, well-thought-out space that offers basic cruising comfort, storage, and overnight capability, extending the boat’s use beyond day sailing into short coastal adventures.
What makes the First 24 SE stand out is how it blends performance with real-world usability. It is fast enough to satisfy experienced sailors, yet accessible enough for those stepping into more advanced sailing for the first time. It is equally at home pushing along a coastline, taking part in club racing, or simply enjoying an afternoon on the water with a bit of pace and freedom.
