Chance is a Bruce Roberts Steel Cutter Cruiser built in 1996. She is a well equipped vessel that has that go anywhere feel about her. Aesthetically, she is fresh and bright with recent canvas work including spray hood, cockpit tent, winch and helm covers as well as a flexi teak that was fitted in 2019 and still looks as fresh as it did when it was fitted. In the same year she had her hull epoxied, a new Furlex 300S fitted to complement the inner Furlex 200S fitted in 2014.

Cabin
Down below she presents very well with new upholstery throughout. Her cushions are as new and are machine washable. She offers 7 berths (2 doubles and 3 singles) in a very well thought out design. The Chart Table is very spacious allowing those with either charts or laptops to spread out when planning their next adventure.
The Heads are large, negating that annoying bumping of arms when trying to remove oil skins when needing the facilities! In fact this is a boat that belies her size giving great headroom throughout of 7 foot!
Of course this is all made more pleasant by the facilities, hot and cold water, heating (Eberspacher) separate lighting controls, a well equipped galley with a fridge big enough to stock plenty of supplies.
Cockpit & Dash
The cockpit is deep and secure with a total of six winches falling comfortably to hand, all lines aft and stored in tidy bags. To the stern is a liferaft (due a service) a wind generator, swim ladder and outboard bracket. She also comes with a suite of fenders and warps.
Sails & Spars
The sails were all bagged down below and have a lovely crispness to them that indicates very little use. Running rigging has been updated on an as and when basis but appear to be in good condition. Standing rigging was replaced in 2016.
Electrical & Electronics
She has had a number of upgrades to her tech including a Raymarine chart plotter and helm instruments.
