Fin keel MOODY 346 – Popular centre cockpit cruising yacht offering up to 6

berths with a spacious owner’s aft cabin.

In present ownership since 1995 and very little used in the last 5 years

Designed by Bill Dixon of Angus Primrose Ltd.

Built by Marine Projects in 1987. Part 1 British Registered.

White GRP hull with sugar scoop transom,

Cast iron external fin keel,

Partial skeg hung rudder with wheel steering and emergency tiller.

White GRP deck, superstructure and self-draining centre cockpit.

Grey moulded-in non-slip surfaces.

Internal GRP mouldings with varnished teak internal joinery.

Laminate surfaces in galley area.

Hull polished & waxed and antifouled Aug’/Sept’ 23.

Up to six berths in two cabins plus saloon.

Green fabric upholstery.

Teak and Holly sole boards beneath loose carpeting

Hot & cold pressurised water system– heated by engine and 240v immersion heater.

Eberspacher diesel fired hot air heating system.

Forward cabin with V berth and infill, hanging locker, cupboard and shelves.

Saloon – full width with settee berth to port and U shaped dinette to stbd with drop

leaf table and cupboards / book shelves outboard port & starboard.

Chart table at aft end of port berth.

Separate head to port with wash basin, h&c pressure water, shower, teak shower

grating, manual sea toilet and storage lockers.

Galley to stbd leading in to walk through to aft cabin with 2 x s/steel sinks, h&c

pressure water, 12v fridge, gimballed Plastimo Neptune 2500 two burner gas. cooker

with oven and grill, Microwave, good stowage and hanging locker by aft cabin.

2 x Wet Lockers off Galley.

Aft cabin with good size double berth to port, wash basin with hot &cold pressure

water supply, L shaped settee and Wardrobe.

Thorneycroft T80 4 cylinder 35hp diesel.

Closed circuit cooling.

Reversing reduction gearbox and shaft driven fixed 2 bladed propeller.

Single lever control, electric start.

Prop’ shaft, cutlass bearing & stern gland replaced 2018/9 by Fox’s Boatyard.

Engine serviced annually.

Cruising 5.5 knots. Max 6.5 knots.
