Well travelled example of the popular Ed Dubois designed centre cockpit Westerly

Oceanlord 41, built 1988, launched 1989. UK VAT paid, British Part 1 Regstered.

Widely cruised with approx 30,000 since 1999 in her current ownership.

Fully equipped and regularly updated with furling mainsail and genoa, cruising chute, 2004 54hp

Yanmar diesel engine, generator, cabin heating, radar, autopilot, AIS, dinghy & outboard.

Accommodation for up to 8 crew, very comforatble for 4/5.

Construction

White GRP hull with blue cove line, underwater surfaces Coppercoated 2014.

External cast iron fin keel

Semi balanced spade rudder with cable link to wheel steering and emergency back up.

White GRP deck, superstructure and self-draining centre cockpit. Teak toe rail.

Grey Treadmaster non-slip deck surfaces and teak laid cockpit seats. 

Teak internal joinery.

Engine

Yanmar 4JH4 54hp 4 cylinder diesel engine – new Autumn 2004

Fresh water cooled with heat exchanger, wet exhaust.

Reversing reduction gearbox with shaft driven three bladed MaxProp feathering

Regularly serviced, last occasion 2019, very little use since.

Volvo stern gland and cutlass bearing replaced spring 2017.

Saloon - with ‘C’ shaped seating to port around fixed central table with folding leaves;

settee berth to starboard; stowage above, below and behind seating; hanging space

behind companionway steps.  Backrests act as lee boards to saloon berths, plus canvas

lee cloths.

Galley – aft to starboard, Techma Nelson gimballed gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and

grill fitted 2018. Gas piping replaced 2018; twin stainless steel sinks; 2 x insulated cool

boxes, one fitted with 12 volt Frigomat water cooled fridge.  220v microwave.

Navigation area - to port, large chart table, navigators seat, switch panel and

instrumenstation.

Navigators berth in walk way through to aft cabin with storage in lockers and shelves.

Aft cabin - seating to port and double berth to starboard;

En-suite heads compartment with marine WC, hand wash-basin and shower.

Tankage

Fuel -                 202 litres in steel tank

Freshwater -      500 litres in two rigid plastic tanks.

 Hot water -        25 litre calorifier tank.

  Holding tank -  40 litres approx
