Description

The Sadler 32 is a ?fin and skeg? design that is well known for her abilities in pretty much all conditions. The current owner has spent a while updating her, ensuring cosmetically she is good with new upholstery in saloon, that the engine is in good and serviceable condition, fitting a 220v shorepower system, replacing some of the instruments, new stackpack, new stanchions and guard wires and some new running rigging.

Construction

White GRP hull with a black cove line. External cast iron deep fin keel and skeg hung rudder. Tiller steered. White and grey grp decks with moulded in non slip. Glued and screwed on non slip cockpit seating. Teak and mahogany internal joinery. Built in 1979 by Sadler Yachts.

Engine

Watermota Sea Panther 30hp diesel engine. Heat exchanger cooling and wet exhaust. Hydraulic gearbox to shaft driven, folding, 2 bladed bronze propeller. Cruising speed approx. 5 knots with max speed approx. 7 knots. Recently serviced.

Tanks

Fuel -                             12 gallons

Water -            40 gallons

Rigging

Deck stepped masthead sloop. Silver anodised alloy mast and roller reefing boom (sheaves at mast step recently replaced). Sailspar furling headsail system. Stainless steel wire standing rigging. Deck stowed spinnaker pole and Lewmar winches.

Electrics

12 volt system – 1 x 12 volt domestic batterery and 1 x engine start battery. Distribution board with circuit breakers. Alternator charging. 12 v LED interior lights and navigation lights.

240 volt system - 240 volt shore power and 2 x 240v outlets

Accomodation

Forward cabin: V-berth with infill and storage under, red vinyl upholstery. Heads: ITT Jabsco toilet, washbasin with pressurised cold water and wet locker opposite, to starboard. Saloon: U-shaped settee to port, settee berth to starboard. Fixed central table with foldiung leaves. Recent, cream upholstery throughout the saloon. Galley: aft to port with Flavel vanessa gimballed gas stove with 2 burners, oven and grill. S/steel sink with cold pressurised fresh water. Insulated cool box. Navigation station: Aft to starboard, large chart table with provision for instrumentation and wide quarter berth aft.

Deck Equipment

Stainless steel pulpit and pushpit. New stanchions and guardwires fitted in 2018. Single bow roller. 10kg anchor, chain and warp. Draining anchor locker. Bow and stern morring cleats. Various mooring warps and fenders. Coachroof grabhandles in teak. Folding sprayhood. New mainsail cover (2018). Teak slatted cockpit soile. Large cockpit locker.

Safety kit

Bilge pump. Webbing jackstays. Fire extinguisher (not guaranteed in date). Radar reflector
