The Rodman 1170 is a practical and sturdy, twin diesel, shaft drive cruising boat. Pablo is the hard top version with the added versatility of a low air draft for inland waterways work coupled with the renowned sea keeping of the Rodman range.

Pablo was built by Rodman and commissioned in May 2014. She has run less than 300 hours has been well maintained.


White GRP hull with chines and sprayrails with alloy and inset rubber rubbing strake and blue boot top lines. White GRP deck and superstructure with moulded in non slip. Twin rudders with hydraulic steering to wheel. Deep self draining aft cockpit with stainless steel handrails. White GRP bathing platform with stainless steel folding and extending bathing ladder. Structural internal GRP internal grid. Light Oak joinery throughout with teak and holly floorboards in saloon and carpet in cabins.


2 x Volvo D6 330hp diesel engines. Reversing reduction gearboxes with single lever controls. Shaft drive (new shafts in 2017). 4 bladed fixed pitch propellors. Closed circuit cooling with heat exchangers and wet exhausts. Engines fitted in a sound deadened compartment beneath the saloon. Ignition panel with warning lights and guages.

The Rodman 1170 is a well regarded “Peche-promenade” (fisher/cruiser) with good accomodation, rugged looks and renowned sea keeping.

 “Pablo” is the hard top version with the added versatility of a lower air draft and therefore accessability to further reaches of inland waterways. “Pablo” appears to have been well maintained and is only for sale as the owner is looking at something large.
