Designed by Holman and Pye and built by Oyster Marine in 1986 the Oyster 435 coachroof is good looking aft cockpit version of a well renowned hull design. Hull no. 28, launched in 1986.
The aft cockpit version of the 435 has a practical internal layout with a good, social saloon and comfortable sleeping accommodation.


White GRP hull with cove, boot and style lines, preventative epoxy coatings applied in 2003 to the underwater surfaces. White GRP topsides with teak laid sidedecks, cockpit seats and cockpit sole. Internal structural floors and stringers to Lloyds approved design specification. Internal joinery in teak with teak and holly floorboards Fin keel with cast iron, encapsulated ballast. Wheel steered to skeg hung rudder (pedestal bearings replaced in 2012).


Nanni N4.43D.HD, 43hp diesel engine. New in 2011. Fresh water cooled with heat exchanger. Flexibly mounted beneath cockpit. Z drive reversing reduction gearbox with single lever control, new in 2011, to 3 bladed feathering propellor. Rope cutter. Approx 665 hours, November 2016.
Fischer Panda 4KVA generator. Reconditioned in 2011.
Bowthruster – Vetus 80KGF.

Fwd Heads – to port with s/steel with washbasin, H&C pressure water, Jabsco sea toilet piped to either sea or holding tank. Shower with shower drain and teak grating. Doors to both saloon alleyway and fwd cabin.
Bunk cabin – to starboard with 2 x bunks.
Saloon – Large sSettees berths to port and starboard with bookshelves / lockers to port outboard. Fixed saloon table with folding leaves. Can seat at least 6 to dine.
Galley – To port under cockpit - 2 x s/s sinks, H&C pressurised water. Top opening 12v refrigerator. Force 4 cooker with 4 burners, oven and grill. Microwave. Manual fresh water pump. Plenty of stowage.  with hand operated discharge pump, H&C pressure water, manual salt and foot operated fresh water pumps,  Plastimo Neptune gimballed two burner gas cooker with oven and grill, top opening coolbox with Frigoboat refrigeration unit and good storage and assorted teak racks.
Chart table to starboard with large outward forward facing table, folding large navigators seat, instruments and switch panel.
Aft head – To starboard with s/steel washbasin, H&C pressure water, Jabsco sea toilet, shower with shower drain and teak grating. Doors to both saloon and aft cabin.
Aft cabin –  Accessed from galley. Double berth with dressing table. Large hanging locker
