Well thought of blue water cruising yacht designed by Holman & Pye and built by Windboats for Oyster Marine in 1989, Hull No. 26. British SSR Registered. VAT paid.

Boysterous is set up as a cutter rigged sloop with a full battened mainsail. She has the preferred central aft cabin berth arrangement and can accommodate 6.

An ideal yacht for those considering the ARC or for liveaboard cruising.


Solid laminate GRP hull with Lloyds release note.

Fin keel with encapsulated cast iron ballast.

Skeg hung rudder with Whitlock wheel steering. Pedestal replaced 2006.

Topsides Awlgrip sprayed in 2002 – sky blue with white style lines.

White balsa cored GRP deck, superstructure and self draining centre cockpit.

Teak laid side decks, superstructure, cockpit seats and cockpit sole.

All Weatherdeck teak professionally re-caulked and sanded in 2016. Teak refastened.

Teak internal joinery, Teak & Holly sole boards.

Underwater surfaces previously epoxy/ Cuprotected in 2009. Some mainly light blistering noted recently below the waterline. A local surveyor verbal suggestion was to sail the boat and at some point in the future have the underwater surfaces epoxy treated.

Galley – In walk-way aft to port - 2 x s/s sinks, H&C pressure water, manual salt and fresh water pumps, 2015 Techma Nelson gimballed two burner gas cooker with oven and grill. Sanyo combi microwave. Top opening refrigerated coolbox. Excellent storage and work surfaces.

Chart table to starboard with large outward facing table, folding navigators seat, instruments and switch panel.

Aft headTo starboard with s/steel washbasin, H&C pressure water, Jabsco large bowl sea toilet, discharged to sea or holding tank shower with shower drain and teak grating. Access from both saloon and aft cabin.

Aft cabin – accessed from p & s with a large central double berth, seating to port and starboard. Good stowage comprising large cupboards port and starboard. Other storage cupboards and lockers.
