Description

Classic, low profile centre cockpit cruising yacht.
Designed by Christoph Rassy & Ollie Enderlain and built by Hallberg Rassy in 1989. Hull No 722.

Part 1 British registered.

Construction

White GRP hull with HR Marinblue style line. Teak capped raised bulwark. Bronze capped teak rubbing strake. Long fin keel with encapsulated cast iron ballast of 3,000 kg. Skeg supported GRP rudder with cable drive Solimar wheel steering and emergency tiller. Underwater surfaces slurry blasted and  epoxied winter 2010/11 by Fox’s Boatyard. Ivory white GRP sandwich deck, superstructure and self-draining centre cockpit. Teak laid sidedecks and cockpit seats - deck cleaned and plus replaced as required April 2017. Mahogany internal joinery.

Engine

Volvo 2003T three-cylinder 43hp turbo diesel engine fitted beneath the cockpit. Closed circuit cooling with heat exchanger and wet exhaust. Electric start. Single lever control. Volvo reversing reduction gearbox with shaft driven 3-bladed Brunton folding Autoprop (original fixed prop’ as spare). Rope cutter – new 2008. 4,500 engine hours approx’. Regularly serviced, Assorted engine and electrical spares.New gear shift cable 2016. New starter motor 2015.

Tanks

Fuel:               340 litres in two s/s tanks (1 x main & 1 x reserve)
Freshwater:    300 litres in GRP tank under saloon sole.
Hot water:       Approx 25 litre calorifier tank with immersion heater
Holding tank:  s/s tank with sea discharge.

Electrics

12 volt system – 3 x 105ah batteries (1 x engine – new 2015, 2 x aux’ – new Oct’ ‘11). Charging via 55ah alternator and Aerogen wind generator. Isolation switches & distribution panel. Interior lighting throughout. Navigation lights, including bow, stern, steaming, deck, tri-colour and anchor lights.

220 volt shore power system – with shore cable, RCB, immersion heater in calorifier tank, 40ah Mastervolt battery charger – new 2008, and 3 x  sockets below.

Furlex furling headsail system – serviced ’05 & ‘11.

Accommodation

Six to nine berths in two cabins plus saloon.

From forward: Forecabin – large Vee berth with storage under. Storage lockers to stbd.
Heads compartment to port:  Fitted in GRP & mahogany with washbasin, mixer tap, shower and drain, Jabsco sea toilet piped to holding tank and storage.
Door to Saloon: L shaped settee berth to port  and settee berth to stbd. Backrests hinge to provide sea berths with lee cloths. Fixed central table with bottle storage and folding leaves. Lockers outboard.
Galley: to starboard. L shaped with Nelson gimballed gas cooker with 2 burners, oven & grill (new 2015). 2 x s/s sinks and 80 l top opening cool box with 12v refrigeration unit. Assorted storage.
Chart table: to port with large chart table, navigators seat, provision for instruments and switch panels. Assorted storage. Access to aft cabin with storage lockers and engine access.
Aft cabin: Double berth to starboard, single berth/seat to port. Storage under berths.

General: 6’3” headroom in saloon.
Blue fabric upholstery throughout. Curtains.

Mahogany floors with carpets over.

Eberspacher diesel fired ducted warm air cabin heating.

Pressurised hot & cold water system – water heated by engine and 240v immersion heater.
