Description

The Oceanis 323 is an aft cockpit, fin keel, nicely proportioned cruising yacht with a good turn of speed. A Popular cruising yacht from the Beneteau Group.

Sloop rigged with 105% headsail makes her easily handled, features include wheel steering, good sized cockpit, well thought out interior for 6 with a large heads/shower compartment. In her second ownership and sold by us new. Designed by Groupe Finot and built by Beneteau in 2004.

Construction

White GRP hull with gold style lines. Cast iron, low centre of gravity fin keel. Moulded in propeller shaft skeg. Spade rudder with wheel steering and emergency tiller. White GRP deck and superstructure with moulded in non slip surfaces. Internal GRP structural moulding. Self draining aft cockpit with bathing platform. Interior joinery in wild cherry.

Mechanics

Volvo 2020, 19hp, three cylinder, freshwater cooled diesel engine with heat exchanger and wet exhaust. Fitted below companionway with easy access under companionway steps and via 2 hatches in the aft cabin. Reversing reduction gearbox to skeg supported shaft driven two bladed fixed propeller. Electric start. Fuel gauge. Pedestal mounted single lever control.

Tanks

Fuel:   65 litres in tank fitted below aft bunk.

Fresh Water:     160 litres in two tanks

Hot water:              22 litres

Electrics

12 volt system – 2x 70ah domestic batteries and 1x 70ah engine start battery wired via isolators to distribution panel. Alternator charged. Interior and navigation lights.

240 volt system – 220v shorepower system with connection cable. RCCB, marine battery charger, sockets in cabins, immersion heater in hot water tank.

Accomodation

Sleeps 6 in 3 cabins. Includes:- “Reps Blue Marine” upholstery throughout.

Radio CD player.  Beneteau crockery and cutlery.

Diesel fired cabin heating.

Hot & cold pressurised water system with shower.

From Fwd: Forecabin – Vee berth with infill, storage under and hanging locker. Opening deck hatch. 220v socket.

Door to saloon – settee berths to port and starboard, fixed saloon table with folding leaves, fixed windows over. T.V. aerial.

Aft facing chart table to starboard with electrical switch panel and provision for instruments.

Galley – to port with stainless steel sink, cool box with 12v refrigerator. ENO gimballed gas cooker with two burners and oven.

Large heads – aft to starboard with washbasin, marine toilet piped to holding tank, shower with discharge pump and wet gear hanging area. Aft cabin to port with excellent double berth and hanging locker. 3 opening hatches, 220v socket.

Spars and Rigging

Deck stepped, 9/10ths fractional rig. Silver anodised alloy Sparcraft red label mast and single line slab reefing boom. Single, aft swept spreaders. Facnor twin groove furling headsail system. Sprung rod kicker.

1x19 stainless steel wire standing rigging. Polyester running rigging including spinnaker running gear (no pole or sail). All running rigging led aft through Spinlock clutches to cockpit.

Blue folding sprayhood and bimini with s/s frame. Cockpit shower. Outboard stowage bracket.
