Beneteau Swift Trawler 44

As the 2012 Olympics approach and with the Olympic Torch arriving in the UK today (18th May), it has been confirmed that the Torch will be coming here to Fox’s Marina on Thursday the 5th of July and being taken by boat to the Ipswich Docks.

Our hope is that the Torch will be carried on a recently delivered Beneteau Swift Trawler 44 (as above).

This would tie in nicely with Beneteau being chosen suppliers for the support, VIP and start/finish boats that are being used in Weymouth for the Olympic and Paralympic Sailing events.

The range will be represented in Weymouth by the Swift Trawler 44s and 34s, The Antares 880 and Barracuda 9 and the Flyer GT44. In total 23 Beneteau Power boats will be officially supporting the Olympic Sailing program.

This is the date to put in your diary for next year’s Fox’s Beneteau Weekend, which we promise will be bigger and better than ever before!

Dissapointingly, due to number of factors – a 25th Wedding Anniversary and an International Dealer Convention being among them – we are unable to hold this years event.

Clearly, after 14 years and many thousands of Pounds raised by the Beneteau Owners during the event for the R.N.L.I., we are extremely disappointed to have to make this decision.

Fox’s Yacht Sales hosted their 13th Annual Beneteau Owners Weekend on 18th & 19th June. The weekend was a great success with 23 sail boats participating in the sail rally  followed by fantastic food and live music in the evening and as result  £2015.00 was raised for the RNLI.
