Grand slam for the Trawler Range, after the ST42 in 2004 and last year the ST52, the new ST34 has been elected boat of the year 2010 in the category “trawlers & aft cabin”.
This event was organised by Motor Boat and Yachting and Motor Boat Monthly.
Unanimously acclaimed by customers at this autumn’s boat shows, the all-new FIRST 35 has now been awarded the status of FRENCH Boat of the Year by a judging panel of sailing trade professionals and sailors
“The boat is totally consistent with its goals”: that was what came out of the comments made by the judging panel who responded to an invitation by Voile Magazine to sail off La Rochelle! A First with real character and an
aggressive, flattering profile that promises a level of performance consistent with the top steps of the podium! The judges also praised the ease and precision of its helm, its cockpit ergonomics for boat handling when fully crewed, and the versatility of its interior for both cruising and racing. They were especially attracted by one detail in particular: the double doors to the fore cabin, combined with the pivoting saloon table. This concept creates an impressive feeling of space that surprises everyone!
Beneteau continue to invest in new models both in the sailboat & motorboat ranges.
SAILBOATS:

FIRST 40: Replacing the iconic First 40.7, Beneteau have again turned to Bruce Farr for the new FIRST 40, shown for the first time at the Southampton Boat Show. Targeted at the IRC circuit, the new 40 is expected to offer the winning performance of her larger sister the FIRST 45, launched last year.

OCEANIS: Completing the new Oceanis range, from 31ft to 54ft, Beneteau have launched the new Oceanis 34 which is designed by Finot-Conq & Associates. It has a hull length of under 10m and is offered with a choice of layouts and trim levels. The new Oceanis 54 is designed by Berret-Recoupeau and is a powerful offshore cruising yacht ideal for living aboard. Both models have been styled internally by Nauta Design.
OCEANIS 43 and 46 FAMILY: Expanding the layout options on the Oceanis 43 and 46, Beneteau have introduced the ‘Family’ version for 2009. As well as the existing 2 and 3 cabin layouts available, the ‘Family’ version incorporates a 4 cabin layout suitable for large crews and charter.
