Beneteau FIRST 24 – New Generation
The Beneteau First 24 is a high-performance thoroughbred with a boldly modern hard-chine hull. The majority of the running rigging is led aft to the clutches located at the companionway, two winches combined with jammers making trimming unconstrained. The First 24 performs particularly well in light and medium air, progressing moderately and with ease at speeds of up to 15 knots. Two hatches open a large sail locker built into the bottom of the cockpit. Fenders can be stored here along with a small thermal or electric engine.
Below deck, the vast open interior of the First 24 has a large forward double berth and single berths on either side of the keel box. A small galley with hob and icebox, chemical toilet and an electric pack combined with solar panels make the yacht fully autonomous.
The First 24 is a stylish racer and a fast cruiser, an unparalleled compromise in the category of high-performance, transportable, cruising yachts.
